India kept their 100% record against Pakistan in the World Cup as they beat their arch-rivals by 89 runs in Duckworth/Lewis method at Old Trafford, Manchester Monday.
Pakistan lost wickets in regular intervals chasing 337 after India made 336/5 batting first.
They made a slow but steady start as they reached 117/1 in 24th over but they wickets in clusters from then on and were in the brink as they made 166/6 in 35 overs when rain stopped play.
After the rain break Pakistan got a new target of 302 runs from 40 overs. After resumption they finished the match on 212/6.
Earlier, Rohit Sharma made a swashbuckling 140 off 113 balls en route to hit his second hundred in three innings in this World Cup to put India in a dominant position after they were sent into batting.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli scored 77 off 65 deliveries to help his side achieve a massive total after Hasan Ali sent Rohit Sharma back to the dressing room after the opener scored 140 from 113 balls.

Mohammad Amir was the pick of Pakistani bowlers as he picked up three wickets bowled economically.
When Sharma got to three figures, India were 172 for one in the 31st over and set for a huge total at Old Trafford.
Sharma and KL Rahul (57) put on 137 for the first wicket after India lost the toss in Manchester.
Their efforts were all the more impressive as they were opening together for the first time in a one-day international.
Regular opener Shikhar Dhawan was sidelined with a thumb injury sustained while making a century in a victory over champions Australia last time out.
Sharma, who made 122 in India's opening win over South Africa and 57 against Australia, went to fifty in just 34 balls against Pakistan.

He got there in style with a six over long-on and a cut four, off successive deliveries from recalled leg-spinner Shadab Khan.
Rahul also brought his fifty up with a six against Shoaib Malik and drove one more off Mohammad Hafeez.
But he fell soon afterwards to Wahab Riaz who, as happened twice to fellow left-arm quick Mohammad Amir earlier in the innings, was warned for running on the pitch.
Two balls after that sanction from umpire Marais Erasmus, Riaz - now bowling from around the wicket - had Rahul chipping a tame catch to mid-off.
But Sharma carried and he went into the 90s with an extraordinary square-cut six over paceman Hasan Ali.
Then a single off Shadab saw Sharma to a hundred off 85 balls including three sixes and nine fours.

It was his 24th ODI century.
Pakistan are currently ninth in the 10-team table and realistically need to beat India if they are to maintain their hopes of a top-four finish from the round-robin group stage that will see them into the semi-finals.
Earlier, Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has won the toss and sent India to bat first in their 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup match at Manchester on Sunday.
The nuclear-armed neighbours have gone to war three times since independence in the mid-20th century - and another conflict nearly erupted earlier this year, giving an even spicier-than-usual geopolitical backdrop to the sport.
Some former players and fans even urged India to boycott the match at Old Trafford in protest at a suicide bomb that killed at least 40 police in Indian-controlled Kashmir in February.
But the game was still the first World Cup fixture to sell out - hours after tickets went on sale for the 19,000-capacity stadium - and millions more will be watching at home.
