Bangladesh clinched the wheelchair tri-nation series cricket after beating host India by five runs in a thrilling final Sunday in Kolkata’s NDKA Stadium.
Asked to bat first, Bangladesh posted 137 runs losing eight wickets in their stipulated 20 overs with Ashraful and Shafiq scoring 47 and 34.
In reply, India were restricted to 132 with Shafiq bagging five wickets.
Nepal were the other participant of the series.
