Though the initial plan was to have fitness sessions in the first two days of the camp, regular private sessions on fitness by players in the past weeks made the coaching panel work on skill, on Monday.
The five cricketers were seen working on their skills on the center wickets in Mirpur. Mustafzur, who is dealing with an ankle injury, was seen working with the bat and will get back to bowling from Tuesday.
Top order batsman Soumya Sarkar and pace all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin did not join the practice but had met members of the national coaching staff on the day. Both Soumya and Saifuddin are part of the Dhaka Premier League side Abahani Limited and are expected to play their last and final game of the season against Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Tuesday.
