Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity registered a 27-run victory over Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) at Fatullah, during their Dhaka Premier League 50-over match on Wednesday.
After winning the toss and batting first, Khelaghar made a solid start. Opener Robiul Islam Robi scored 75 while one-down batsman Mahidul Islam Ankon scored 49 to take their side to 133/1 before the latter was lbw to Hasan Murad in the 34th over.

That brought about a collapse as the middle and lower-middle order was stymied by some good bowling from BKSP. In the end Khelaghar ended on 212/8 in 50 overs. Hasan Murad was the pick of the bowlers for BKSP with three wickets.
In reply, BKSP could never get on with the chase and lost wickets in regular intervals. Shamim Hossain, who batted in number four, scored 56 and made the highest partnership of 46 runs in the fifth wicket with captain Abdul Kayium (22) . But that was not enough as they could make only 185/9 in 50 overs and Rabi was adjudged man-of-the-match for his batting in the low scoring match.
