The Bangladesh Premier League’s governing council has decided to change the timings of the country’s franchise-based T20 tournament.
The weekday afternoon matches will now begin at 1:30pm local time, as opposed to the previous timing of 12:30pm, while the evening games will start at 6:30pm, compared to the previous timing of 5:20pm.
As far as the weekend (Friday) matches are concerned, the timings remain the same for the afternoon and evening games.
The afternoon and evening matches on Friday will get underway at 2pm and 7pm respectively.
The changes will come into effect from Saturday.
In accordance with the new schedule, Chittagong Vikings will lock horns with Khulna Titans at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka at 1:30pm, while Dhaka Dynamites will face off against Sylhet Sixers at 6:30pm.
