Later, the BCB gave special blazers to the Bangladesh players where it was emblazoned "100th Test, Bangladesh Cricket Board".Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan and Sri Lanka Cricket president Thilanga Sumathipala were present among other officials during the occasion.
The programme started at around 9:30am in front of the Dr Ranjan Chamugam stand with the playing of the national anthems of both the nations. Then, flags of the two countries were raised, along with the ICC flag. The BCB chief and the Bangladesh High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Riaz Hamidullah, jointly raised Bangladesh's flag.
