Ahead of the sixth edition of the BPL T20, scheduled to start on January 5 next year, Khulna Titans have bolstered their squad with the signings of Ireland batsman Paul Stirling and South African all-rounder David Wiese.
Stirling will become the third ever Irish cricketer to feature in the BPL after wicketkeeper-batsman Niall O’Brien, who previously turned out for Khulna Royal Bengals, and his brother Kevin, who played for Rangpur Riders.
Stirling will replace the West Indies batsman Sherfane Rutherford, who was denied the No Objection Certificate by the board.
Wiese on the other hand will fill up the remaining vacant place as far as foreign cricketers are concerned.
