With 22 points and two wins, North finished top of the points table, followed by South Zone, who have 16 points and one win. North's title win meant all the four teams have won the franchise-based first-class tournament at least once since its inception in the 2012-13 season.
With 731 runs in six matches and nine innings, South batsman Tushar Imran finished as the highest run-scorer of the tournament with a fascinating average of 91.37. The former Bangladesh batsman registered two double centuries in the fifth BCL while North spinner Sanjamul Islam ended as the highest wicket taker with 25 scalps in five matches and eight innings.North v East, Fatullah The game at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium ended in a draw after East, chasing 454 for an improbable win, ended their reply on 128 runs for three wickets. But with three points earned from the game, it was enough for North to clinch the tournament.
North went into the final round with 19 points. Resuming day four on 239/6, North eventually posted 295 before losing all of their wickets. Nazmul Hossain Shanto led the way with an unbeaten 122.
Chasing the target, East played out 36 overs and made 128/3 before the match officials removed the bails to signal the end of the game. East batsman Tasamul Haque was unbeaten on 44.Central v South, BKSP 3Replying to South’s 749 in the first innings, Central Zone scored 415 all-out after resuming the final day on 184/3. Opening batsman Shadman Islam led from the front, top-scoring with 113 - his second first-class hundred. Taibur Rahman added 90 to the tally.
South left-arm spinner Nazmul Islam picked up four wickets.
