Zimbabwe opener Brian Chari was hit two times in his helmet while batting on day three, in the morning against Bangladesh. Both times, the bowler was Bangladesh pacer Khaled Ahmed.
The incidents happened 21st and 30th over respectively.
Chari was also hit in the helmet during the afternoon session on day two. Interestingly, the bowler was Khaled on day two as well.
During the 20th over on day three’s morning session, the ball hit the side grill of the helmet and during 30th over the ball was hit the grill.
However, the three hits to the helmet did not cause much problem to Chari as the opener scored an impressive 53 run innings in the end.
