Mushfiq scored 219 off 421 deliveries with 18 fours and one six as Bangladesh declared their first innings on 522 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 160 overs during day two of their second and final Test match against Zimbabwe at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka Monday.

Mushfiq also created another record on way to his undefeated 219, facing the most number of balls by a Bangladeshi in a Test innings.
His 421-ball knock leapfrogged the previous highest of 417 faced by Mohammad Ashraful against Sri Lanka in Galle in 2013.
He is also the first ever Bangladeshi to score two double centuries in Tests, and his 219 is the first double hundred in Tests this year.
