In memory of Afzalur Rahman Sinha, the former Director of Bangladesh Cricket Board, Abahani Limited and Chairman of BPL Governing Council, a two-day long “Kaiser Sinha Memorial 6'a Side Cricket Tournament” will take place at Fatullah from tomorrow.
At a press conference at Dhaka Club’s Samson Hall in yesterday, the organizers informed 12 teams will take part in the event.
The tournament is jointly organized by Dhaka Club, Gulshan Club, Uttara Club and Bangladesh Cricket Board.
Sinha, a renowned organizer in country’s game, better known as Kaiser Sinha, was also former president of Dhaka Club and Chairman ACME Group of companies. He died on August 8 at the age of 68.
