Update : 23 Oct 2018, 08:53 PM

Fazle Rabbi Mahmud

Newcomer Fazle would be under the scanner in the second ODI. He made an unimpressive debut with the bat in the first ODI as he was out for a duck, managing to play only four deliveries before losing his wicket. He batted in the crucial No 3 position on debut but got out off a superb delivery. Dropping him after just one match is highly unlikely at the moment, and according to sources, he will get another chance to prove himself in the second ODI. Mashrafe bin Mortaza also gave full support to the 30-year old left-handed batsman and believes he can deliver. So it’s a crucial match for Fazle.

Sikandar Raza

The right-arm all-rounder has become a standout performer for Zimbabwe over the past few years with brilliant performances with both bat and ball. Last time when Zimbabwe visited Bangladesh early this year, Raza was in superb form. The talented middle-order batsman recently returned to the squad after resolving contract issues with the Zimbabwe board. Zimbabwe will rely on his experience ahead of the crucial match and would expect him to deliver as he played some brilliant innings at the same venue in Chittagong during his BPL T20 stint with Chittagong Vikings last year.
