Bangladesh women’s team were humbled as visitor Pakistan bundled them out for just 30 runs while they were chasing 89 at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar Wednesday.
The first match of the series was washed out and with the win, the visitor now lead the four-match T20I series 1-0.
Reigning Asia Cup champion Bangladesh asked Pakistan to bat first in a curtailed 14-over game. Pakistan skipper Javeria Khan made 25 while Nahida Khan scored 18 to help their side post 88/5 on the board.

Chasing the target, Bangladesh batters were left struggling as they collapsed like a deck of cards, getting all-out in 12.5 overs in an innings that never got going. The perils were evident as none of the host’s batters were able to reach double figure with Rumana Ahmed scoring the highest nine.
The Pakistan bowlers were on a roll with left-arm spinner Anam Amin leading the board with three scalps in three overs and that too without conceding a single run in the game. Aiman Anwer, Nashra Sandhu and Nida Dar picked up two wickets each for the victor.
The third and penultimate game of the series will be played Friday at the same venue.
