Left-handed batsman Imrul Kayes led the way for BCB Green against BCB Red on the opening day of the four-day practice match at Sheikh Abu Naser Cricket Stadium in Khulna Wednesday. Imrul made a 93-ball 58, featuring five fours and three sixes as BCB Green posted 177 runs losing six wickets in 52 overs before play was called off due to unplayable conditions at the ground.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan and lower-order batsman Mehedi Hasan were unbeaten on 28 and 16 respectively. BCB Red’s Al Amin bagged three wickets while Taskin Ahmed, Jubair Hossain and Iftekhar Sajjad took one apiece.
