The first match of the three-game Wheelchair T20 series between Bangladesh and India was abandoned due to rain at Jagannath Hall, Dhaka University Saturday. Asked to bat first, Bangladesh, led by Emdadul Islam, made 126 runs for the loss of six wickets in 18 overs before rain intervened.
The second and third match of the series will be held Sunday and Monday respectively at the same venue. Sagar led the way for Bangladesh, scoring 56 off 38 balls while Al Amin and Sharif made 18 and 14 respectively. India’s Anmul bagged four wickets.
