Clinical Sri Lanka thrash Bangladesh to book final berth

Sri Lanka produced a clinical display to book a berth in the grand finale of the tri-nation ODI series as they handed Bangladesh a 10-wicket thrashing at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka Thursday. Batting first, the Tigers were dismissed for 82 in 24 overs with wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim top-scoring with 26. Seamer Suranga Lakmal bagged three wickets while pacers Dushmantha Chameera and Thisara Perera and spinner Lakshan Sandakan took two apiece.In reply, the Lankans romped home in 11.5 overs, openers Upul Tharanga and Danushka Gunathilaka remaining unbeaten on 39 and 35 respectively. Bangladesh made one change to the playing XI from their previous match against Zimbabwe, all-rounder Abul Hasan Raju replacing spinner Sanjamul Islam.
