Shakib selected by Cricket Australia in best T20 XI for 2017

The year 2017 has been a productive one for Bangladesh cricket team as the Tigers registered some impressive performances across all three formats of the game. Considering Bangladesh's displays this year, it was no surprise to see all-rounder Shakib al Hasan and wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim get selected in the best Test XI, a list prepared by British newspaper The Guardian. To add to that, Shakib added yet another feather to his already decorated hat as he was selected by Cricket Australia in its best T20 XI side.

The world's best all-rounder in T20Is, Shakib featured for Bangladesh, Dhaka Dynamites, Jamaica Tallawahs, Kolkata Knight Riders and Peshawar Zalmi in the shortest format of the game. Both his international and domestic record was taken into account.
