It seems the game of cricket is evolving with each passing day. Following the recent introduction of T10 cricket, the game will now be played on matting pitch which will be surrounded by ice. The first ever Ice T20 cricket will be hosted by Switzerland from February 8-9 this year.
Cricketers like Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis from South Africa, Virender Sehwag and Mohammad Kaif from India, Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar from Pakistan, Lasith Malinga and Mahela Jayawardene from Sri Lanka, Michael Hussey of Australia, Nathan McCullum, Grant Elliott and Daniel Vettori from New Zealand and Owais Shah and Monty Panesar from England will take part in the two-day tournament.
