CRP lift ICRC T20 trophy

Centre for Rehabilitation of the Paralysed physically challenged cricket team have won the International Committee of the Red Cross T20 tournament after beating Bangladesh Cricket Association for the physically challenged by seven runs in the final at Jagannath Hall Ground of the University of Dhaka Thursday. Batting first, CRP posted 104 for the loss of seven wickets in their stipulated 20 overs with Shoriful scoring the highest 22 off 14 balls. BCAPC's Babu took two wickets.

Chasing 105, BCAPC were all out for 97 in 19.3 overs. Monir top-scored with 52 off 27 deliveries while CRP's Sanaullah took four wickets to be adjudged the player of the match. In a brief prize giving ceremony, Youth and Sports deputy minister Arif Khan Joy handed over the trophy to the winning team. A total of six teams, comprising 90 players, from Dhaka and other districts competed in the five-day long tournament.
