Bangladesh to start new year with tri-nation series

Bangladesh cricket team are all set to start the year 2018 hosting a tri-nation ODI series comprising Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, followed by the two-match Test and T20I series against the Lankans. The BCB Thursday announced the itinerary of the 40-day long schedule of the Tigers.The 14-day long tri-series will start on January 15 with host Bangladesh taking on Zimbabwe in the round-robin tournament at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, the lone venue for the competition. The Tigers in their second game of the tournament will face Sri Lanka on January 19. In the second leg, the host will lock horn with Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka on January 23 and 25 respectively. The final of the tri- series will be held on January 27 in Mirpur. Sri Lanka’s tour of Bangladesh will end with the two-match T20I series against the home side.
