Rajshahi launch A6ATree Campaign

Rajshahi Kings launched their A6ATree Campaign at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Dhaka Sunday. The Rajshahi team management earlier announced that they will plant one tree for every six they score in BPL 2017 to promote a greener Bangladesh. Bangladesh and Rajshahi pacer Mustafizur Rahman and their West Indian seamer Kesrick Williams inaugurated the campaign by planting trees at the St. Joseph school premises. According to a study conducted by World Health Organisation, Rajshahi came out on top in the list of cities which managed to see biggest drop in air pollution in recent years. One of the major factors of achieving this miraculous feat was to turn up the green volume of the city.Following this, Rajshahi decided to spread the green into Dhaka and then to engage the whole country too through this campaign. Green Savers Association, a non-profit environmental organisation, is one of the partners of the campaign. Principal of St. Joseph school, Brother Robi Purification and founder and president of GSA, Ahsan Rony, were present among others in the launching.
