Bangladesh are currently facing several injury problems. Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman twisted his ankle during warm-up on Saturday and missed the first ODI at De Beers Diamond Oval in Kimberley. According to team source, the pacer will miss the rest of the tour. But details of his injury will only be known after scanning his ankle. The scan will be done Tuesday. Opener Tamim Iqbal is also suffering from an injury in his left thigh muscle. As a result, he missed the second and final Test match at Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein. But the new injury concern is that of Test captain Mushfiqur Rahim. Mushfiq scored a century in the first ODI but did not field in the entire South Africa innings as a precautionary measure. Bangladesh team manager Minhajul Abedin Nannu, who is also the chief national selector informed that Mushfiq’s situation is not serious. But still, he will be assessed Tuesday during practice.Bangladesh lost the first ODI by 10 wickets against South Africa. #SAvBAN pic.twitter.com/ztAoXPkDMx

There were also rumours that ODI skipper Mashrafe bin Mortaza is suffering from injury. But the chief selector swatted away those rumours. Bangladesh are residing in Cape Town and will attend practice in Paarl, 60 kilometres away from Cape Town.
