TAMIM IQBAL

Bangladesh

The dashing left-hander is in terrific form in the ongoing 2016 World Twenty20. Tamim displayed power cricket along with some sheer class in both the first-round matches against the Netherlands and Ireland. The 26-year old stood firm in the face of adversity against the Dutch, remaining unbeaten on 83 off just 58 balls, despite the fall of regular wickets at the other end. The swashbuckling southpaw continued from where he had left off, blasting a quickfire 26-ball 47 against the Irish. The Tigers will once again look to Tamim to provide a blistering start against Oman today.

MUNIS ANSARI

Oman

The right-arm seamer was outstanding with the ball in their historic two-wicket win over Ireland in the first game of the qualifiers. The 29-year old, whose bowling action is similar to that of Sri Lanka paceman Lasith Malinga, was the chief architect behind the victory, courtesy his 3/37 from his four overs. Oman, who are now just a win away from creating further history, will depend heavily on Ansari as they face the high-flying Tigers today. The Tigers would do well to observe Ansari's bowling action closely before launching against him.
