Mahmudullah
The thirty-year-old has taken himself to a new height in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2016 with his stylish yet exciting batting. Mahmudullah has been phenomenal with the bat and remained unbeaten in four amongst five innings of the regional competition and guided Bangladesh to victory in three occasions. The Mymensingh lad scored 121 runs in five games at an outstanding average of 121. But more importantly the experienced cricketer played with sheer class and displayed some clear hitting and scored runs in quick time helped Bangladesh to launch in the latter part of the innings. And undoubtedly Mahmudullah, who is now the key player for the Tigers in the T20s, will play a vital role in the upcoming ICC World T20 mission in India.
Sabbir Rahman
Man of the tournament Sabbir Rahman showed his ability at the important number three spot of the Tigers batting line-up. The 24-year-old exciting batsman is the second highest run scorer of the Asia Cup with 176 runs at a strike rate of 123.94. The right-hander, smashed a magnificent eighty off just 54 balls with ten fours and three sixes, single handedly guided Bangladesh to eventually post a winning total of 147/7 in twenty overs and winning it by 23 runs against Sri Lanka. The good looking cricketer has changed the approach of the Tigers as his ability to counter-attack the opponent bowlers in pressure moments helped Bangladesh to make a comeback in the game.
Al Amin Hossain
Fast bowler Al Amin Hossain has become an integral part of Bangladesh. He has picked up 11 wickets in five games with the best bowling figures of 3/25 against Pakistan. The 26-year right arm pacer bowled brilliantly in the crucial death overs for the Tigers and also managed to give the important break-thorughs. And the conditions in Dharamsala where Bangladesh will play the qualifier of the ICC World T20 is likely to offer some extra pace and bounce for the seamers and Al Amin will look to cash in from that.
