Bangladesh left-arm pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman will play for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2016.
The cricketer was picked up with a price of $208,000 at the player auction on Saturday.
Twenty-year-old from Satkhira has recently become the first ever player from Bangladesh to make it to the ICC ODI Team of the Year.
Mustafizur’s ODI career kicked off with a match-winning 5/50 against India in the three-match series in June. The left-arm pacer from Satkhira tormented the Indians further as he took 6/43 in the following match to become the first bowler in history to take 11 wickets in first two career matches.
Till date, Mustafiz played nine ODI matches and picked 26 wickets at an average of 12.34. In his seven T20 international matches, he picked up 10 wickets. Mustafiz played only two test matches and picked four wickets.
