Bangladesh Women Cricket Team have got off to a great start in the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier 2015 in Bangkok beating Thailand by 73 runs.
Batting first at the Thailand cricket ground, an all-round effort helped Bangladesh register a comprehensive win over the home side on Sunday.
Ayasha Rahman, the opener, made a crucial 32-ball 30 to help Bangladesh got past 100.
In reply, Thailand folded for 32, the lowest score in Women’s Twenty20.
Before this game, the record was held by Sri Lanka when it could manage just 57, also against Bangladesh, in 2012.
Bangladesh will now play Scotland while Thailand will play Papua New Guinea in its next game on Sunday.
