Bangladesh A team will tour India later this month to play three 50-over matches and two three-day games as the Board of Control for Cricket in India confirmed the schedule yesterday.
The second-string national side will take on India A in the first of three one-dayers on September 16 in Bangalore. The visitors are scheduled to contest their first three-dayer against Ranji Trophy champions Karnataka in Mysore from September 22. The second and final three-dayer between Bangladesh A and India A will get underway on September 27 in Bangalore.
Bangladesh A are bracing for a busy time up ahead as they are scheduled to visit South Africa for two one-dayers and a three-day match. Later, they will tour Zimbabwe to play two four-dayers and three 50-over matches. Their African safari will conclude on November 18 this year.
Bangladesh Cricket Board is yet to announce the A squad for the upcoming tour of India. The Bangladesh A team cricketers however, are not short of match-practice as they have been practising together in various programmes in recent times.
