Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the 15-member national physically challenged squad for the upcoming five-nation International Committee of the Red Cross Twenty20 tournament. Bangladesh and England will play the opening match at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the tournament, organised by the ICRC, Ministry of Youth and Sports, BCB and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan.
The other matches will be held at BKSP, including the final on September 10. Afghanistan, India and Pakistan are the three other teams of the competition.
Squad: Shahriar Shamim, Mohammed Monirujjaman, Amin Uddin, Alam Khan, Apurbo Kumar, Drupam Patranibash Tirtho, Suja Islam, Rifat Hossain Bappy, Rasel Sikder, Mamunur Rashid, Sana Ullah, Mohammed Nasim, Jahid Hasan, Shariful Islam and Faisal Khan Sumit.
