Bangladesh’s fastest man Imranur Rahman exited the World Athletics Championships despite improving on his preliminary round timing in the heats in Budapest Saturday.
The 30-year old Imranur clocked 10.41 seconds to finish seventh among eight in his heat, and 45th overall among 55 athletes.
The fastest 25 eventually advanced to the semi-finals.
The England-based sprinter earlier Saturday timed 10.5 seconds to emerge top of his preliminary qualification round, and fourth overall among 33 participants, 10 of which progressed to the heats.
