Dhaka Athletics’ high jumper Mahfuzur Rahman bagged gold medal after leaping 2.10m in the National Junior Athletics at Andhra Pradesh in India Monday.
Mahfuzur, who claimed gold after jumping 2.15m in the Summer Athletics in Dhaka in August this year, won Dhaka Athletics’ second gold in the meet after Jahir Raiyan.
Sprinter Jahir notched gold in the 400m after clocking 47.13s Sunday.
A total of five Bangladesh athletes are representing Dhaka Athletics, who received an invitation for this tournament by the organizing committee.
