BKSP athletes Mamun Ali and Sumaiya Dewan reigned supreme in the U-17 100m men’s and women’s events at the National Junior Athletics in Dhaka’s Bangabandhu National Stadium Saturday.
It was triple delight for Sumaiya as she had also claimed the U-17 long jump and 400m events earlier Saturday on the second and final day of the national age-level competition.
After clinching the 100m gold medal, she said, “I want to be a famous athlete and win medals in both the national and international tournaments.”
