Barça Academy, the official football school of FC Barcelona, is making its debut in Bangladesh through a partnership with International School Dhaka (ISD).
This esteemed school is set to inaugurate its Autumn Training Camp, which has garnered significant interest from students at ISD and other schools.
They are all set to benefit from the expert guidance of Barça Academy coaches, according to a media statement on Monday.
Two notable coaches from Barça Academy, Joel Linas, the technical coordinator, and Gorka Pujol, the head coach, will be arriving in Dhaka to mentor the young talents.
The Autumn Training Camp is scheduled to commence on October 22, unfolding at the ISD Field's sporting facilities and extending throughout the week.
This international partnership aligns with the school's newly established “ISD 2.0” strategy, signifying a commitment that transcends traditional classroom activities.
The initiative is designed to create opportunities for the entire community, encompassing students, educators, parents, and local residents, to interact with the Barça Academy within ISD's world-class facilities.
The Autumn Training Camp is open to all, welcoming girls and boys aged between 6 and 17 years.
These young participants will have the privilege of honing their skills and learning the secrets that have propelled FC Barcelona to the pinnacle of global football prominence.
The camp promises to incorporate FC Barcelona's renowned training methodology and instill the core values of the club.
This promises to be a truly unique experience for children, providing them with the same foundation that has produced numerous world-class players.
