Zidan Miah declared the completion of his successful surgery through his Facebook post on Wednesday.

The first Bangladesh-origin British footballer to join a La Liga club, had to end his season due to a terrible injury.

Zidan was playing a league match for Rayo Vallecano (C Team) in Madrid and ruptured his Achilles 100%.

He wrote: “Operation was successful. Thank you to everyone for all the love and support. Now, it’s time to focus on recovery.”

Zidan signed for the La Liga club “Rayo Vallecano” at the beginning of the 2021-22 season.

He had to go through a two-month-long trial process to get selected for the team that finished 12th in the league this season.

Earlier, in several interviews in Bangladesh media outlets, Zidan had expressed his desire to represent the red and green jersey.
