Sanat Babla was elected as the president of Bangladesh Sports Press Association Friday at the sports organization’s biennial general meeting at Bangladesh Olympic Association House in Dhaka.
Special correspondent of Daily Kaler Kantho, Sanat’s tenure will expire after two years.
Staff reporter of Desh Rupantor, Sudipta Ahmed Ananda was once again elected as general secretary, while the other 17 members of the committee were also elected unopposed.
Four senior members of BSPA – Ikramuzzaman, ASM Raqibul Hasan, Mostafa Kamal and Sanaul Haque Khan – were honored with lifetime membership during the event.
Sylhet branch claimed the best branch award.
