The scheduled burial for Nayokraj Razzak on Tuesday afternoon has been postponed by 12 hours after his son Bappi managed to get a ticket to Bangladesh. Razzak’s son Bappi, who lives in Canada, hadn’t managed to get a ticket to get to the country in time when the original time for burial was planned. But later on he found a ticket and he is expected to arrive in the early hours of August 23.
The family decided to delay the burial until then. Film director Montajur Rahman Akbar told Bangla Tribune that the family didn’t want Bappi to miss the chance to see his father for the last time. “It would be really sad if he couldn’t see his father for a few hours. That’s why the burial was postponed. Once Bappi arrives in early morning (Wednesday) the burial will take place after that at 10am.”
