Manish Malhotra and Kareena Kapoor Khan have been the best of friends for a long time. Every year, Kareena graces the catwalk at Lakme Fashion Week as Malhotra’s showstopper, but this year fans of Kareena will miss her at the ramp of LFW. It is speculated that Alia Bhatt will walk for Manish this year. The early rumours stated that Kareena refused Malhotra on account of baby Taimur Ali Khan. A close source dismissed the rumour, saying that the young Begum has declined because a different brand than Lakme is sponsoring this year’s event, and Bebo’s appearance is exclusive to Lakme.
Having already made a stunning catwalk comeback within months of giving birth to Taimur last year, it is unlikely that her baby boy was the reason she turned down the project.
