Actress Suchitra now slams use of loudspeakers for Azaan

Remember Sonu Nigam’s azaan row, the issue still persists. Now Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, who has starred in films such as Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa opposite Shah Rukh Khan, joined him and tweeted about morning Azaan Sunday and sparked off the debate all over again. Here is what she tweeted:

Singer Sonu landed in trouble after he posted a few tweets about Muslims and the Azaan. The tweets embroiled him in such a big controversy that a fatwa was issued against him and he even had to go bald to take a stand for what he had said.
