The film was officially announced on Thursday evening, with the makers confirming that it is scheduled to hit cinemas during Eid-ul-Azha 2027.
The announcement poster offers the first glimpse of the film, showing Shakib in an overcoat holding a gun, while a woman in a white salwar kameez and red orna holds his hand. Red marks are also visible across the poster.
In separate Facebook posts, Himel Ashraf, Arshad Adnan and Shakib Khan wrote, “Sometimes, love comes with a price, a promise, and a struggle… Introducing ‘Mohabbat’, the beginning of a new story and a new journey. See you next Eid-ul-Azha!”
