Charli xcx has announced a new North American arena tour this fall in support of her upcoming seventh studio album, "Music, Fashion, Film."
The 12 date tour will begin on September 11 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and will include two-night stops at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and Los Angeles’ Kia Forum. Electronic artist Underscores will serve as the opening act for all dates.
The album, set for release on July 24, features previously released tracks “Rock Music” and “SS26.” It marks a stylistic shift for Charli, moving away from the electro-dance sound of her Brat era toward a more guitar-driven direction.
The recently revealed album artwork features John Cale, Marc Jacobs, and Martin Scorsese, each symbolizing the “music,” “fashion,” and “film” themes of the project.
With the new era, Charli is expected to rework her live performances, moving away from the lime-green visual identity of her Brat tour in favor of a darker and more cinematic stage aesthetic.
