Content creator and actress Kaarina Kaisar has died from liver complications.
She passed away on Friday while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chennai after being taken to India for advanced medical care.
Her father, former national football team player Kaaisar Hamid, confirmed the matter in a Facebook post early Saturday.
According to family sources, Kaarina developed liver failure following a fever and infection. As her condition worsened, she was initially treated at a hospital in Dhaka before being taken to Christian Medical College Vellore in Vellore, India, where preparations were underway for a liver transplant.
Kaarina first rose to prominence as a social media content creator before expanding into television dramas, OTT projects and screenwriting.
Her notable works include Internship and 36-24-36.
