Dhaka University Film Society (DUFS) is set to host the 24th edition of its flagship film festival, “Amar Bhashar Cholochitro 1432” to celebrate the legacy of Language Movement and the golden heritage of Bengali cinema on Tuesday.
The festival will run from February Tuesday to February 8 at the TSC premises of DU.
Marking its 24th year, the festival aims to bridge the gap between contemporary audiences and the nostalgic era of Bengali cinema—an age defined by hand-painted posters, vibrant visuals, and soulful storytelling. In an era dominated by small smartphone screens, DUFS invites film enthusiasts to return to the big screen to experience the magic of the region’s cinematic roots.
