The upcoming series Aatka, a family-centric story, is set to premiere on OTT platform Chorki at midnight on January 14. Written by Raba Khan and directed by Arafat Mohsin Nidhi, the series marks their first collaboration as writers and creators.
The title Aatka, meaning “sudden” or “unexpected,” reflects the playful and unpredictable moments in the series.
At the end of last year, veteran and emerging artists—including Abul Hayat, Rosey Siddique, Saberi Alam, Moushumi Nag, Arosh Khan, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Sohel Mondal, and Fariha Rahman—gathered for a casual get-together hosted by influencer and writer Raba Khan to celebrate the series.
Cast members shared humorous and memorable experiences from the shoot, noting the blend of veteran and new talent.
Other actors in the series include Mukul Siraj, Suman Anwar, Tanmoy Parvez, Durjoy, Alif Khan, Fardeen Khan, Fahad Riaz Khan, Dalia, and Abu Nayem.
