Amitabh Reza Chowdhury's “Rickshaw Girl” is set to release today January 24 across cinemas and OTT platforms in Bangladesh.
The movie is based on a novel by American author Mitali Perkins. The story revolves around Naima who longs to earn money for her poor family, but her unrivaled artistic talent is of little use. When her father grows gravely ill, Naima feels she has no choice but to leave her small village for the bright lights of Dhaka.
The film stars Novera Rahman as the lead along with Naresh Bhuiyan, Allen Shubhro Gomes, Momena Chowdhury and Gulshan Champa.
Amitabh Reza Chowdhury posted the hall list on his facebook with the caption “From January 24 2025 (Friday) come to watch 'Rickshaw Girl' with all the family at a cinema hall near you.”
Other than the Star Cineplexes in Bashundhara, Shimanta Shombhar, SKS Tower, Sony Sqaure, Grand Riverview Rajshahi, Bali Arcade Chittagong, the film is showing in Shyamoli Cinema Hall, Lions Cinemas, Momo Inn Bogura, Grand Sylhet Movie Theatre and Rupkotha Cinema Pabna.
