Following the footsteps of actress Mehazabien Chowdhury, her younger sister Malaika Chowdhury made her debut in drama. This young starlet will be seen in a drama called 'Shondhikon'. She is acting alongside actor Farhan Ahmed Jovan.
Surprisingly the story of ' Shondhikon' is written by Mehazabien Chowdhury. It is directed by Muhammad Mustafa Kamal Raj. The shooting of the drama has started from Thursday (October 17).
Muhammad Mustafa Kamal Raj said about Malaika, "It is not that I gave her a chance because she is Mehazabien's sister. The story I got from Mehazabien seemed to fit a new girl. In this case, Malaika's name came to mind first. She has acting talent. She seems to be working hard on the shoot. I believe, Malaika will be able to win the hearts of the audience.”
Malaika Chowdhury has previously modeled for an advertisement directed by Adnan Al Rajeev. The advertisement for Himalaya Natural Glow Rose Facewash was released last February.
Malaika Chowdhury is very excited about her debut in the drama. She said, "I feel good about the shooting. Knowing that the story of my elder sister and the direction of Raj Bhaiya will be combined, I agreed to act in this play. As a co-artist Jovan Bhai is helping me a lot. I will be looking forward to know how the audience reacts after watching my performance.”
The show is set to come out on Youtube this year.
