Saswata Chatterjee has managed to capture the hearts audiences from both India and Bangladesh. Despite his fame on this side of Bengal, he had never worked on a Bangladeshi project until the upcoming web series “Gulmohar” directed by Syed Ahmed Shawki.
Shawki has confirmed to the local media that the actor will be taking part in “Gulmohar” but has not revealed the other cast members yet. On June 20 the actor was granted permission by Saiful Islam, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to film in Bangladesh from June 25 to July 7 for five days.
According to Shawki, "The release date of the web series will be announced by the production company after the shooting,". ‘Gulmohar’ is said to produced Film syndicate and is of the thriller genre. And will be released on Chorki.
Apart from this, Saswata Chatterjee is getting ready for is upcoming movie “Kalki 2898 AD” starring alongside Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. The film is scheduled to be released worldwide on June 27.
