Courteney Cox says she feels late ‘Friends’ co-star Matthew Perry’s presence

In an interview with CBS, “Friends” famed star Courteney Cox said she still feels her co-star late Matthew Perry visits and guides her even after his death. 

"I think he's probably one of the funniest human beings in the world. You know, he's just so funny. He genuinely had a huge heart obviously struggled. I'm so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years.

“He visits me a lot if we believe in that… I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew – I feel like there are a lotta people that are, I think, that guide us. I do sense, yeah, I sense Matthew's around for sure,” she said in the interview on Sunday. 

She said she is grateful for the life she has and how many wonderful people she has worked with. 

“That was my family. I mean, we went through everything. Those ten years were everything – they're my family," she said regarding the top-rated US television comedy "Friends". 

Actor Matthew Perry, who gained fame in the 1990s as the wise-cracking Chandler Bing in "Friends" and chronicled his decades-long battle with substance abuse in a memoir last year, died on October 29 last year. He was 54.

His death was confirmed in a statement posted by NBC, the broadcast network that aired "Friends" for 10 years, on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
