Jaan Kumar Sanu, son of legendary singer Kumar Sanu released his debut romantic music "Mon" in a hotel, located at the epicentre of Kolkata. The music features his pair Srijla Guha, a Mexico born bengali actress.
Addressing the guests at the launch, Jaan, appealed for audience support of Bengali audience . The video music mon is composed by Shailaditya Chaudhury and Som Chakraborty. Lyricist Soham Majumdar of the song has contributed to several songs in Bangladesh including "Ami Psycho," "Tui Chhara Ke Achhe Bol", "Sundaridare Chai", "Kon Vule", "Mon Kande", "Ghum Na Asa Rate".
Mon is now available on Youtube on the page of Surinder Film and elicited great response right after the release, a Surinder Films official at the helm of distribution told Dhaka Tribune.
Greeting the readers and audience of Dhaka Tribune in an exclusive chat, Srijla, known for her role in "Mon Fagun" Bangla serial, extended her gratitude to her followers in Bangladesh.
"Every time there's a release, i tend to get excited and bit of nervous worrying how people would be accepting it," Srijla told Dhaka Tribune.
"I have received so much love from Bangladesh. I can't express my gratitude," she said. Syed Mujtaba Ali is her favourite Bengali author and she reads a lot of titles written by Agatha Christie and Durjoy Datta.
Srijla, the beauty queen identifies herself as a non-romantic person yet grabs romantic fictions for pleasure reading, she said on the margin of the launch on Tuesday in Kolkata.
"The best part of being an actress is it gives me my space and time in a different world. I myself and the industry create that world," Srijla told Dhaka Tribune.
