Hombale Films expands the cinematic saga with Kantara Chapter 1, starring Rishab Shetty. The first-look poster and a teaser video offer a glimpse into the visually stunning world of this mythological fantasy. Anticipated for release next year in seven languages, including Bengali and English, the film is set to commence filming in December. The cast details remain undisclosed for now.
The 54th IFFI in Goa concluded on Tuesday after showcasing 270 International and Indian films, including 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films. The Best Film Award went to 'Endless Borders' Directed by Abbas Amini; while 'Panchayat' Season 2 directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra was recognized as the Best Web (OTT)-Series. Rishab Shetty received the Special Jury Award for 'Kantara,' and Hollywood legend Michael Douglas was honored with the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award at the concluding ceremony.
