Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's wife, Aaliya Siddiqui, has filed a rape case against the actor.
In a video posted on Instagram, Aaliya said she filed the case at India's Varsova police station on Thursday.
Aaliya said: “A great actor, tried to be a human. But when his mother called my children illegitimate, this man was silent. I have filed a rape case against him at the police station.”
“He is a person who has never taken responsibility for the children and does not know how they even grew up. He has now demanded to take responsibility for the children. He is actually trying to be a good father by force, and trying to take away my children from me. He wants to empty the arms of a mother by abusing power,” she said in the video.
Nawazuddin and Aaliya got married in 2011.
Last Saturday, the court dismissed the dowry case among the multiple cases that Aaliya had filed against Nawazuddin.
