Bangladeshi actor Chanchal Chowdhury looks unrecognizable in his upcoming film on the life of Indian film director and screenwriter Mrinal Sen.
Chanchal plays the role of Mrinal in the film titled “Padatik” and looking at their photos side by side, it is hard to recognize they are different people.
Chanchal's look in the film was revealed on Friday. Three photos showed how Mrinal Sen and Chanchal looked alike at different ages. Two of the photos were of youth and middle age, the other of old age.
Bangla TribuneAudiences are thrilled at seeing the similarities. It is believed that maybe the director of the film Srijit Mukherji chose a Bangladeshi actor to play the role instead of someone from India for this reason.
